I ahve no insurance but I just had a very bad weekend http://www.thelupussite.com/public_html/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif almost went to the hospital http://www.thelupussite.com/public_html/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/nurse.gif . Now my friends are thinking of just paying for a trip to the doctors office. I need to know how do you know if your rhumey is knowledgeable in Lupus? Does anyone in the Fort Worth Texas area have a doc they like to share? Thanks

I suggest you contact the Lupus Foundation of America who will give you the name of rheumatologists who specialise in treating lupus patients.

You should also look at the 'Find a Doctor' forum where I will move this post to as I feel it will get more attention.

Finally, if you look at the folllowing web site, you may be able to locate a rheumatologist in your area:
