my name is LIL and i have lupus , my mouth is so dry i carry a bottle of water with me all the time, the weather is hot here this is worse in the summer time.What can i do for this?
and i am hurting in my hips and a cross my shoulders i am not due to see my Dr until July, i am on hydroxychloroquine and prednisone.Has any of you had this problem?

Dry mouth could be a sign of Sjogren's syndrome. Have you been tested for that? It is a very simple test. They usually start with your eyes to see how good your tear production is. It is called the Shirmer's test. They place test strips in your eyes for five minutes and register your tears. Dryness can also affect your teeth making them sensitive to cold and pron to cavities and other dental problems. joyce
