Hello everybody!

I 've just discovered your forum over Lupus.I am from Romania, Bucharest,26 years.Unforutnately i do have this illness too. i was told i have it after 1 month of crisis , but from that point i started to feel very well. I do take prednisone 10 mg/day and 200 mg Plaquenil.Initially i took 30 mg of prednisone and 400 mg Plaquenil.
In one year i'll move to Canada.I hope this pain won't come back ever...
If you know some specialist to read my analysis, especially my anti corps , i would be very grateful..

Keep in touch.
Hugs,
Cris

Welcome, Cris!

You'll get wonderful support here! There are a few doctors with lupus here (I'm one) and many more who have more knowledge about lupus than many doctors out there, so please feel free to post any specific questions about your labs. We will do our best to answer your questions.

Please feel free to e-mail me privately if you don't wish to post your labs publicly. Take care and God bless!

Love, Diane http://www.thelupussite.com/public_html/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Hi chris,
Welcome to the boards. Where are you going to be moving in Canada? I am from eastern Ontario in Canada.
There is a number of people here on the boards who are from here so if you let us know where you will be living, one of us will help you if we can.... Good luck with your move and let us know.
love Mariea

hey everybody!!
It's so nice to feel you close..I didn't talk to anybody but my family and my fiancee about me as lupie.
As I told you i'm feeling so well right now that I 'm on the edge to give up my medication.Should I do this?
Please don't notice my poor english so, allow my mistakes sometimes..TKS..

Hi Chris

Welcome to the boards where I hope you will find lots of information and support.

You should'nt stop your meds without your doctors permission. You are probably feeling so well because of the medication and, if you do stop it, it has to be done very gradually.

Take care.

Love
Sannie
