Hi, can anyone who's been to Tommys shed any light on what I might expect? I know it's over a week away but I am very nervous. It's quite a major trip for me from Yorkshire. My friend is coming and we are staying with her parents in London, which is so kind. How long does it normally take on a first visit? Is it common to be asked to come back for tests or even stay in? I suddenly thought how complex it is going so far to see a doc. I have 3 kids and my hubby and me are self employed and my condition already puts a big strain on us, though my hubbynever moans.
I've written my depressing diary and am amazed how many things go on and often I lie in bed and remember a pain I forgot to write down. Deep down I am so scared I'll draw another blank and there will be no hope left for an improvement.
Any advice would be appreciated.

love to all,
minnie

Hi Minnie

Please look at the thread called 'D-Day' that was started by patricia mary.

Pat has been to Tommies for the first time this week and I think you will find the thread very helpful.

If you have any questions after you have read it please get back to us and we will try to help.

Love
Sannie
