update on birdie

just spoke with Brian i think hes in shock poor love...they have found a clot in the bottom of birdies lung....she is on strong anti bio...but no warfarin/heparin...didnt like to ques him too much ,however he said they are hoping for her to be home fri.....

It's hard to believe that they don't have Birdie on heparin, because that's what the doctors put me on first thing when I went into the hospital for a pulmonary embolism! (blood clot) :wacko:

I sure wish I knew what the doctors are planning to do next! :blink:

She's been in my prayers, and I wish the best for her, bless her heart! :love:

Thank you for giving us an update, I have been praying for Birdie and wondered how she was doing.

Looks like I need to pray for the doctors who are treating her as well.

I'm sorry to hear this has happened to Birdie. Please let her know that we are all hoping that she gets speedy and adequate treatment. I too think it sounds pretty odd that have not given her heparin or something similar. Very strange, maybe they need a good kick up the you know what from a few of us :angry: :wacko:
