Hi All,

I wasn't certain where to post this, so settled here. Ha!
I met the nicest lady today while out bumming around with a friend. There was a community garage sale, and this person had some very beautiful things so we stopped. I saw a Homedics heating/vibrating cushion for just $3, so of course I snatched it up. I explained I have an arthritic condition, we started chatting and she's had FM for several years, still trying to get her SLE dx. WE chatted a bit and I toldher how wonderful this site is, and suggested she visit. Of course I was in lupie brain fog and didn't ask her name but gave her mine here. Hopefully she'll join us sometime in chat. I've always tried to think of people I don't know as prospective friends yet to be. I think the wonderful people here would be such an encouragment to her.

Thanks for your time,

Michelle :flowers:

Hey Michelle  Thank is so cool of you to that... I do the same thing when am selling my Lupus Angels of Hope on Ebay. I have made so many new friends and we share our stories, and I have told them about this wonderful site, as it has saved my life in so many ways.

Way to go :woohoo:

Michelle,
I am glad you are open and talk about your illness. I really think that is a posative way to deal with it. Hope you find your new found friend.

Hye Michelle

I think it is great also to talk about the LUpus. Sometimes I can be very open about it but sometimes I think people really do not want to hear about it or they are going to feel sorry for you and as everyone in this sight knows that is not exactly what we are looking for. NOt that is not kind of nice once in awhile but not what we are looking for right.I am just so thankful everyday that i wake up as we should allbe with so much going on in the world. I really hope you find her your new friend or maybe you can go back to that house if you can remember where it was. I know somedays I go to so many that would be hard to do. Good Luck with it.

Tammy from illinois.
P.S. We are here for you also.
