I'm under the impression from Clare T. that if you have a thyroid condition along with having lupus - it is a concern. Can anyone tell me what the connection is? I have hypothyroidism. Help! :( :nono:

I, too, have hypothyroidism. I have been led to believe this is no surprise but no one ever got concerned about it. But, then, my family doctor seems to see me as symptomatic rather than a whole picture. :wacko:
Hey Jo,
I can't say exactly what Clare meant, obviously. n maybe she will be around later to answer u.
But, I thought i might suggest something that maybe she was saying. As u had mentioned u were sooo tired. So, she was addressing the fatigue issue, in her post from what i read.
So, it seemed, from what she said, n the sentence right after about depression causing fatigue; then it seemed she was saying to make sure about anemia n Thyroid issues- b/c they can come along w/ Lupus; n those differ. illnesses can cause a lot of fatigue too.
So, i suppose i got from it that she was saying that sometimes something else can be playing a role in fatigue- n to make sure, w/ u if there was or wasn't.
But, u can talk to your doc. aboutthis too, if u have a concern. n maybe Clare will be around to clarify if this is what she meant. but, it did seem like it since she was talking about fatigue- n as i said that can be a big thing w/ those 2. n can come w/ Lupus.
Anyways, don't get worried, i know easier said than done. just try n fill yourself w/ knowledge about everything u deal w/.
Take care,
Alicia :coffee:

[FONT=Arial]Alicia,
Thanks for the update. Knowledge is power. There is just so much to absorb. I get overwhelmed! It makes sense what you said. I appreciate your reply.
