plaquenil

Just wondering about plaquenil and if it would work for lupus in the kidneys.I have read some of the post that say plaqueni can actually change the course of lupus.Thanks Latte. :D

It isn't used for kidney disease - there are several other agents for that particular sort of lupus.

It is reckoned to help slow down the general disease process, thus making the need for stronger drugs less likely, with luck, but once organ damage of any sort has started stronger drugs are needed, often added to the Plaquenil.
