Kimberly,

The ana and RF factor are the usual screening blood tests that GP's will run. They usually also run the thyroid, cbc, sed rate and crp. Others also depending on what they are trying to screen for.

Hope you feel better,
Karen

Kimberly,

The second round of tests hopefully includes everything else used in diagnosing lupus and other CTD's.

The ena panel, the complements, the cardiolipins and other phospholid stuff. The last being to check for APS which includes "sticky blood" and can be a part of lupus.

When is your next follow up to discuss this round of labs?

Hang in there, stay focused on today to help keep your mind off the future.

Take care,
Karen
