Hey To All,
Haven't been around much lately, been busy being me. B)
Had to go to doctor today as fast-acting inhaler (Combivent) not helping with last 2 asthma attacks. I was put back on pred and advair, also being sent to a Urinologist/Surgeon to test bladder control problems. Of course with the Sjogren's dx doctor doesn't want to just put me on Detrol or something else until we can rule out other underlying problems first.
I'll be on the pred for 10 days then the advair for a month. So much for the 5lbs. I worked to lose! If lung fuction doesn't improve drastically I'll then be sent to a pulmonary specialist. Bummer. I'm so tired of always getting more bad news just when I think I'm feeling a little better.
Thanks for reading this.

Hi Michelle,
:hugbetter: I hope the new meds help your breathing and that they can sort out the bladder issues soon. :luck: Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

Hi Friends,
I've been offline as I switched ISP's and couldn't get my computer to work properly. Thanks for your responses and encouragement. This latest round of pred has really knocked me for a loop! I feel like I'm in the twilight zone! Been have strange neuropathy like symptoms too, anybody else get this from pred?
Well I do go to Urologist for initial workup and testing today. I'll let you know how this turns out.
Hugs,
Michelle :flowers:

Hi Michelle! I am sorry you are having all these problems. I have a question for you. You say that your lungs have been affected by the sjogren's? I am curious because I don't have an actual dx of sjogens's yet although I am going to have a lip biopsy soon. But I have had progressively worse problems with my lungs in the form of bronchitis and asthma. I didn't realize this could be a symptom of sjogens's. Can you elaborate on your condition and tell me how the doctor knows your lungs have been affected by Sjogren's? Also, I have bladder control problems also but I always thought it was really due to childbirth and age. I'm sorry for asking all these questions but I am really trying to figure out all these symptoms...it seems as if my whole body is falling apart.
I sure hope you can get your symptoms under control. Please keep posting on how you are feeling.
((((HUGS))))
