Electrocardiogram test

Hi Lily, and others,

Well first may I thank you for your support and advice when I wrote about my legs being swollen two/three weeks ago.

I enjoyed a great holiday, got back home on Monday last, and went to have my E.C.G. this morning.

I was told my heart is in great shape, (thank goodness), and when the nurse looked on her computer screen she told me my doctor said that if the E.C.G. test was clear, I would not have to go back to see her.

I have made another appointment anyway because having aquired some knowledge on oedema (nonpitted) I think the situation with my legs requires further investigation.

Hi Heather,

I'm glad your heart checked out OK. I think you are right to follow this up with your doctor though if its still happening so let us know what transpires.

Another suggestion is to have a urinalysis to make sure everything is ok there. But keep at them until you get a reasonable answer and rule out the big stuff.
