Hi All,
Just an update. Saw the Urologist yesterday, turns out we've known one another as I reffered patients to him through the doctor I used to work for-the 2 of them were great friends. Suffice it to say I feel totally comfortable with this wonderful man. After going over my hx and recent incontinance problems and a UA (which showed no protein or blood or sugar), had did an Ultra Sound of my bladder and found numerous cysts. He had me dress and consult back in his office. I am scheduled in the morning for a cystoscopy. He told me he has had a few patients through the yrs with lupus and this is the only disease which will cause the number and type of cysts he believes I have. The sx will be done under a local (to avoid making current flare worse). Thank you very much!
Also I made a stop at PCP's office but he was on vacation, saw one of his partners as I was breaking out on arms, hands and fingers with a non-itchy rash-also facial swelling and redness. Partner wrote in chart prominent malar rash with steriod dermatitis. Let that rhuemy argue with me now! Seems with the heat we've had recently my skin is reacting to stopping the predinose. So I'm back on 40mgs per day for 4 days, then stepping down over a 3 week period. I did gain back 4.8 lbs of what I had lost but what the heck. I'm a happy dumpling anyway.
