View Full Version : Thanks Joanne
It has been a while since I have seen anyone post a thank you to joanne and all the people that make this site possible.
I am amazed when I consider how hard it must be to manage such a site and deal with lupus, family and other committments. I know I am not alone in giving you praise and thanks for what you are doing for people suffering with lupus and lupus like illnesses.
It has been a while since we have said thanks; and, well I think it is important to let people know how much they are appreciated from time to time.
So thank you for all you do! We appreciate having this safe haven.
Sincerely,
Jamie

Every post I have placed so far I have thanked everyone. But I would like to do it again and again. I have educated my family about this website because it was the best thing I have found in my search for knowledge, caring, assistance and just a release of my emotions. Thank the higher powers for allowing you wonderful caring people to see the power of support! Once again YOU GUYS ARE THE GREATEST!!!!!! :woohoo:   :goodvibes:

Hello all,
I want to thank you so much for all the thank yous to the moderating team. It helps to hear good stuff instead of just complaints.
For the new people who do not know Joanne, she is the site owner. She has developed this over many, many years now, I think it is 9 years. Joanne has lupus and that is what drove her to create this site, so that people can become informed about lupus. There is far more than just the message boards and the chat room. The main page http://www.thelupussite.com is a place of vast information about lupus. It is written in patients terms not medical terms so it is easy to read. I printed out 2 or 3 pages from the main site when I first joined. Those pages helped my hubby have a brief understanding about the illness I have.
Thank you,
Karen
