Blood Work

HI!

Just was wondering if any of you have experienced extreme bruising after having blood work done. Until I got sick, this has never happened to me before. It takes forever to go away. Thanks!

I was having bruising frequently until I asked them to use a pediatric butterfly needle. Now the bruises if I get them are smaller and so go away much faster.

Same here, lately they have been using the butterfly needle with me and no problems :D

I also get alot of brusing ,unless they use a butterfly
I had one place refuse and I went else where
with the butterfly ,I don't get any brusing
try it ,I am sure it will work for you

Thank you everyone soooo much for your suggestion on a butterfly needle. I don't know why I didn't think of that before. Does this bruising thing come with the lupus and/or APS or maybe it's just that I'm getting older?

Sometimes I do sometimes I don't, I think it depends on who is drawing it honestly. Also my mom always does. Not sure if that helps or not.
