Im feeling.....

Hi everyone, This is not a symptom related issue, but I just needed to vent as Im feeling sorry for myself. Yesterday I was hungry and decided to fix a snack, I saw that the kids had some of the little microwavalbe meals in the cabinet, so I fixed me a ravioli one, i put in the microwave for a minute and 15 seconds, it was very hot, so here I am racing into the living room to sit down with it, and my hubby who is laying in the floor watching tv looks up to see what im doing. Im trying to dodge him and hold the the little hot bowl and the ravioli wasted all in the palm of my hand. My whole arm went numb and then started burning like crazy like it was just sitting in fire. I started screaming because I just knew my skin was going to come rolling off, because my hubby was burned in a grease fire 3 years ago and had to be in burn center for a while, anyway I had a bad flash back. Finally I made it to the sink to run it under cold water and hubby fixed me a bucket of ice water to put in in to make it to the hospital. Needless to say i ended uo with 2nd degree burns on my hand. So so painful, and they put me on Lortab which made me very high insteed of stopping the pain, Im afraid to get up out the chair when I take those things. Well anyway, today I felt better, but I think all the pain made my have a flare up, cause now my feet are swollen and my legs and arms hurt so bad its such a shame, I mean i dont think I can win from loosing, sry you all had to hear this, but I just needed to release some stress right quick, guess I will go now, since Im sitting her typing with one finger, Well until next time :sick:

Thanks for the replies, not that Im feeling better i have decided to leave the microwave alone, and decided the day that I got burned that I will never buy raviloli again, let alone those little microwave bowls :cry: . I have decided also to take tylenol pm or something when my hand goes to aching and throbbing because I am so scared of those lortabs, I will only take one of those again in the worst case possible. But I am feeling a whole lot better, but have learned to stay away from hot stuff, my daughter almost burned her hand on a firework tonight, I think we have a jinx over us sometimes, lol. Well now we know better and my kids have learned also, after seeing me cry the other day , which they have never seen, oh yes they learned big time. Well I guess thats all for now, hope everyone enjoyed their holiday. Smoochies...... :love:
