missing you all

hi all, i just wanted to let everyone i usually chat with in the room know that i miss you all terribly...unfortunately i'm not doing so great of late and am not really up to the room, having major lung probs, in the middle of my second bout of pneumonia in a months, am supposed to be on total bed rest..the docs said i am better off at home at the moment as there are so many infectious flu type bugs going around the hospital..
this has of course caused me to flare, as well as my white cell count being really low, so basically i am a wreck..
anyways, just wanted to say i love you all and am thinking of you daily, i hope you are all doing ok xoxox willow

hii guys, just popped on for a minute to say thanks for the well wishes. i'm resting all the time and ollie has lilianah for me so that makes it alot easier .
i was supposed to see the prof in sydney this friday but i dont think that will be happening as well as my birthday celebrations on saturday night at the goth club....oh well this is the life of a lupie...
lily, i had another seizure saturday night which was not the best night for it as it was simonn;s party, so i was really hoping to see the prof and talk about it, do you think he'll be ok about me phoning and talking to him instead?
anyways, i'm off to rest on the lounge again..

Willow is there anyway you can get there to see him, it would be good if he could check you out,is there anyone who could take you down? If that's impossible then yes I think he'd be ok about you phoning, of course he will want to see you at some point to assess you himself, but at least you can update him on what's happening. If it looks like you are going to have to cancel then I'd give ample notice, he's been flat out lately and there may be someone else who can get in as a result of your cancellation. Just a thought.

Try and get some rest, you know what happens when too much comes our way and we already arent well. I'm glad Ollie has Lilianah right now too, the holidays are difficult enough but with pneumonia then it would be impossible for you to cope with her home :(

Not a good way to celebrate your birthday either :hugbetter: but hopefully once you are feeling a little better then you can make up for it. For now you need to look after you hun.

Don't take any notice of Anita :lol: she's just jealous cos I didnt share my dark peppermint chocky with her the other nite ;)

just a little update, i ended up in casualty this morning because my fever had gotten out of control, nothing i took was calming it down...they sent for my cruddy old specialist, was interesting to see him :wacko:
turns out my white cell count is wayyyyyyyyyyyy low and my lft came back really whacked out, so that is the explanation as to why my body has totally rebelled on me..
the outcome was that he wanted me to go back up to 10mg of pred and definitely see the prof on friday..i've decided not to start the increase in pred till i see him as he is so anti pred and reducing it has benefited me so much..
anyways, i'm still on bedrest til friday, and lily i'm catching the train down to save me driving, no way i;m doing the peak hour thing on a friday..

Sorry you ended up in Casualty hun :( would be 'interesting' to say the least seeing your old doc ;) Good idea to stick to plan A for now until you see the Prof on Friday - he may have another take on this, or he may decide to up the pred anyway - let us know what he says.

I'm sorry you have to catch the train sweetums, however I'm really glad you are going and my thoughts and good wishes go with you.

Willow.. so sorry to hear you are down with the pneumonia.. i too suffer from it all the time.. my doc gives me the prednisone at 20mg a day to help to get me breathing again, and to get the stuff to move... if your not already on it.. ask your doc to help you with it maybe.. just a thought.. don't wait though, because the longer you wait.. the more damage it can cause you with scarring.. :(

PS>> to get chat to work for you.. you may try downloading it manually... that is what i had to do.. it may say it is on your computer.. but mine wasn't working either until i did the download manually.. then it popped up like a shining star..

just go to the manuel download area and redownload it.. to desktop.. then close everything out and re-boot your computer.. should work then.. :D
