Update on me (and my mum)

well, what can i say! I doing good at last! my ESR is falling, and i'm feeling better than i have done in years! Apart from a couple of bad headaches, Heartburn, not sleeping and bad rib pain (oh and acne, d*#n teen years! :lol: ) I'm great!

One little problem is that my bone density scan showed that there is less bone density at my hip then there should be so I have to see a specialist in osteoporsis (sp?) just to make sure I don't have problems later on.

All-in-all, she is pleased with my progress, she has given me something for my heartburn and told me to go back in three months!

On another note, I know she has posted about her breast cancer so, my mum is going into hospital tomorrow fo a lumpectomy, just to let you know.

Thanks so much for the update. I'm glad that things are going fairly well for you u sure deserve it! Good luck with the osteo specialist, there are things we can take to guard any further problems there so good luck hun :hugbetter:

Give Mum (Karen) a big :hugbetter: :flowers: from us here. We have been wondering how things were going and a little worried. So make sure she knows all our thoughts and prayers are with her . We'll be thinking of her and let us know how she gets along.
