Hello,

I finally spoke to my audjucator. This was after trying to reach him for days. I finally called the main number and explained I'd been trying to get in touch with him but he wasn't returning my phone calls, do you know he was on the line in just 3 minutes? :D

He told me a decision had been made on July 12th. Also told me he didn't know what the decision was and couldn't tell me if he did. He said I should be getting a response in the mail. I called my atty who said I should probably hear something about the beginning of August.

I'm trying not to get my hopes up, figuring they will prob just request a medical eval or something stupid. Funny thing is I used to work next door to the evaluation place for our area. The doctor I worked for was friends with the evaluator, if he's still doing those. At least if thats the case this guy will definitly be able to notice how much I've changed in the last 10 yrs since I've seen him. :(
Oh well, I will try to be patient a while longer. I can't help but think of the T-shirt I used to have: A buzzaed on a tree branch, saying, "Patience my a**, I'm going to kill something!" :halo:

Hugs,

Michelle :flowers:

Michelle,

I hope it will be in your favor. I expected a denial and got approved so you never know. I think it depends on what hour of the day our files make it to the top of the stack. Late afternoon they are probably cranky and deny the rest of the cases for the day.

Hang in there,
Karen

Hi,

I got the same run arund that you are getting. I was then informed via letter that my case had been sent to another state. It said in the letter not to contact any division of SSD until I received additional info from the state it was sent to. 3 days latter i got a letter from my local office telling me that I had been approved and they had scheduled a meeting for the following week.

I never did here a thing from the other state.

Good luck

Elaine

Karen, Sue and Elaine,

Thanks I needed some positive vibes! Keep me in your prayers please. I am just so afraid to think positive as I don't know if I can take another let down right now.

Thanks again,

Michelle :flowers:
