 Is this good news or bad news? :) or :( I received the report today from the general doctor. My sed rate is 29 - that's not even too high. My titer thing was 1:40. I don't know all these terms but it seems as I read it, I'm normal except for the positive ANA. Live with me for a day and you would see I'm not normal though! anyone else have this problem ? I've asked to move my Rhemy Dr. appoint. up - but can't get in - so I'm on a call list now. I feel like I'm wilting in this heat! (I live near St. Louis so I have the high humidity also). I'm so confused

Hi Grace,

I wouldnt worry to much about the figures. The Rheumy will want to run lots more tests than this and will listen to your symptoms and the fact you were diagnosed with Lupus previously.

My very first positive ANA was 1:40 (classed as a very low positive) but it climbed and as you say it is obvious there's something going on. A good doctor will take all things into account and run more tests that your GP hasnt probably. The other tests and symptoms will help pinpoint what is going on.

Good luck and I hope you can get in sooner.

love
Lily
