update on daughter

Hi Lilly

Just thought id let you know how my daughters appointment went today. She only saw the consultant today and was feeling normal however she did have malar rash on her face he asked a dermatologist to look at it and suggested a skin biopsy of her face if the blood tests he took today were negative. We have to go back in two weeks time. The rheumatologist at her last appointment thought that all her problems were due to hypermobility.

Well that's good news that he's suggested this, it may very well be the first step towards diagnosis. And doctors do take note of other docs opinions so this is good.

It does sound promising. A referral and a follow up in 2 weeks most of the time seems that the doctor listened and believes something is wrong.

Hypermobility is the new diagnosis dumping ground. I have seen that in post after post these last few months.
