Fibro doctor

Hi, does anyone know of a doctor who specializes in Fibromyalgia in Lake County, OH? My Rheumy, says he doesn't feel he can go on treating me -- as I have not made any progress. He says my Lupus is in remission, per my bloodwork, although I have not had any relief in symptoms. He feels it is "just" the Fibromyalgia. I have an awful time with medicines and have been off and on several anti-inflammatory meds and muscle relaxers as well as antidepressants. Right now I'm on placquinel, skelaxen and ultram. Hi Elaine,

I'm sorry your Rheumy doesnt feel she can address your needs any more :(

Some of us find we have to travel some distance to get adequate expert medical care, I know I do but it's well worth it in the long run.

I am hoping that someone will come along who can help you find a doc who can help you with the Fibro issues and make sure there is nothing else going on, that your lupus is not causing some of your issues right now.

Hi - thanks for your reply. Yes, am really experiencing physician problems -- causing me sleepless nights and extra added stress.
