I went for my hearing today for SS. My lawyer told me this particular judge usually makes a decision 3-4 months after the hearing. We were in there about two hours.
I was approved right then! :woohoo:

I couldn't believe it! I am relieved to know I am finally approved after two years.
But, there was also the realization that I will not physically be able to work anymore.

I just wanted to share the good news with all of you. We all need to hear something positive every now and then.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel, hang in there to all of you appling for SS benefits!

I know how much it means to you and the relief you feel. My wife got hers after 3 1/2 years.
I'm still waiting for my first hearing. I would love for it to go the same way!
