Can anyone recommend a "Lupus Doctor" who practices in Scotland, or North of England either NHS or private, (I live in Scotland and have mobility problems from neurological involvement). Is there an official site where Lupus specialists (rheumatologists / immunologists) are listed, e.g. Royal Society of Medicine, either NHS or private.

Welcome Trebor
This site might prove useful

Newcastle upon Tyne has a lupus centre - see for example Dr Bridget Griffiths autoimmune connective tissue diseases specialist.
You could also ask LupusUK, the national support group with regional branches.
All the best

Sorry that I have just replied but I have only just joined the forum.
I have been attending Glasgow Royal Infirmary Rheumatology department for 12 years and they are a fantastic team.
My Doctor is Dr Madok, however Prof Capel and Prof Sturrock are also excellent specialists in the department to name but a few.
There is also a Rheumatology ward in Glasgow and I have spent many weeks over the past 12 years as an inpatient.
I was referred via my GP however there is a more local Rheum dept at my local hospital but it certainly does not get the excellent feed back the Royal receives.
I think it is a long wait for a referal but there is no turning back once you are there.
Good luck
