Hi all,

I have been doing more research and reading on complimentary therapies lately. Both sides of the subject; how to see hoaxes and real research.

The link below is from the lupus minnesota site that paulin has as a link in a living with lupus thread. I plan to try and find more information on the subject but thought I would go ahead and post as others might want to help research as well.

Karen,

Thanks for posting that link,, I will do some research on my own also. I am a huge green vegetable person because I don't eat red meat or pork, and I love all of those veggies, I am considered mild lupus right now, so maybe that gives me hope in regards to my symptoms getting any worse. Very interesting, I will continue to eat my veggies.

I'll be OK then ! :)

Brussels sprouts are my fav, cooked al dente with butter, salt and fresh ground black pepper and a teeny bit of nutmeg. Plus chestnuts for high days.

Cabbage, yum yum, especially with a good rich beef stew, al dente again. Raw in coleslaw. Red cabbage with apple, sweet and sour may be some raisins.
Even broccoli since I arrived in USA, although not more than twice a week at most.

As for cauliflower, it is so good along with tomato saucy dishes, and I love it raw too. Cauliflower cheese is delish, but hubby hates cooked cheese so we rarely have it. Hum....... I'll have it for lunch today.

Cheers and good eating !

Thank-you for the link, I eat all of these almost everday, as I don't eat meat
or birds. I think I'll research it further to see what I come up with.

Take Care
Jude
