I got it!

Yesterday late I got a letter that my SS disability claim had been approved. Thank God! They counted my time of disability only back to last November rather than the full time on my claim -- it cut the back pay I had coming by 2/3 but I don't believe I'll appeal. I just am so greatful to be getting a monthly check. Come Monday, when I can call the bank and make sure it's there, we will be completely debt free -- except for our mortgage. And we will still have some left over.

I still can't belieive the good news!!

I'm so happy for you...I wouldn't appeal either, Like Sue said it will take a while before you get the money, sometimes 6 months or more!!! Did you have a lawyer?? He might could help you speed it up. Again, I'm just glad its over with and you don't have to keep wondering.
