Sorry to hear about the problem.
I don't have lupus so can't say if it could do this but have had some problems in this area.
I had an infection at one time that was very painful and was found by a doctor in a very odd way.
I almost thought he was playing games when he took a flashlight and placed it up against them and turned it on. Turns out that the infiction made things look a little diferent then the other side that was not infected and told him what to do.
A very strong dose of antibiotics cleared it up but if given one I warn you to be careful when you start to move because the rush of medication to the head with a very large dose can make you unsteady.
This is not an area that a guy likes to go to a doctor for but it sounds like you are going to need to do that.
This is not an area that you want to wait long on because it tends to get only worse and that is even more painful.

Well i woke last night in the middle of the night in termendious pain in my back (kidney area) so i spent the morning at the Dr.s, he ordered several tests, gave me a shot of antibiotics, a perscription and sent me to get an ultrasound on the kidney. has me doubled up on pain meds.
i have been feeling pretty bad the past week or so, he thinks that it is all related. i will fill you in when i hear more.
Thanks
Todd
Hi Todd,
I hope things get better for you quick, that's a lot of pain to be dealing with. I guess I've been lucky in that department so far but I'm glad you brought it up. I hope the antibiotics do the trick. Please let us know how it goes.
Good luck and take care.

I also have had that pain, I remember being out with my brother watching football and had to go home because I also felt like I had been kicked in the junk, it lasted for about a week I did nothing and it went away. I had never felt this kind of pain before, but like soo many people I often feel like I am wasting peoples time to go to the doctors as most of the time I go they find nothing and leave feeling like a hypocondriac.
please let me know how you make out.
