HI guys, thought this might be useful to someone here trying to make thanksgiving easier.
1 9 inch unbaked pie crust
3 eggs
1 cup dark corn syrup
1 cup white suger
1/4 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup peacan halves
Pre-heat oven 350*
Beat together eggs, corn syrup, suger, butter, and vanilla
Arrange peacans on the bottom of the pie crust
Pour mixture over peacans
Bake for 50 to 60 minutes

Although lately, when i think of pecan pie I think of a cartoon poking fun at the more southern pronouncation of pecan, (like how my hubby says it,) where it was an empty can of peas baked into a crust......Pecan pie!!
