All my blood tests were negative. The x-rays for my wrists showed that the digits are shorter than they are suppose to be.The doctor said that my fingers hurt probably from popping them so much. She said that everything hurts because there's some inflamaition and to take ibprophen(400 mg)three times a day every day even if nothing hurts then to come back in three months.

Hey!
Are you diagnosed with lupus?
If not I know exactly how you feel. It takes a very long time as far as I understand. I'm 26 (not under 20), and I haven't been feeling good for a very long time. I was actuallu in the hospital for 2 weeks recently, but they haven't been able to diagnose me. My ANA tests are negative too, but a few other tests show that I might have lupus or another connective tissue disorder. Fun isn't it? I'm going back desember 16, and are hoping for an answer. I am in a lot of pain now too, a flare. My joints are killing me, specially my sholders and hands (wrists). I was in last week to talk to a rheumy, but they couldn't decide if it was in the muscles or joints so they wouldn't give me any shots or meds. I just take painkillers, and they don't help a lot.
I feel so bad for you! I hope you get some support through this. It's hard, and it seems like we are fighting with the docs all the time to get them to move faster. It's hard for them as well of course, but we are the ones in pain.
If you need to talk I'm here on both pm and msn outside these posts.
Hugs,
Hanne in Norway
