View Full Version : Peach and Pear Protein drink

3 dried peach halves
3 dried pear halves
1 egg
2 tablespoons low fat peach yoghurt
400ml skim milk
1 tablespoon malted milk powder
1 tablespoon ground almonds
ground cinnamon to serve

Soak the peaches and pears in 1/2 cup ( 125ml) boiling water for 10 mins or until plump and juicy, drain, cooland chop

Place all ingredients including the soaking liquid in a blender and blend until thick and smooth. Serve sprinkled with a little cinnamon.

Nutritional information:

protein 9.5 grams, fat 4 grams, carbohydrate 19 grams, dietary fibre 2 grams, Cholesterol 65mg, 625 kilojoules, (150 calories)

i have the ingredients,and i am going to go and make it.
it is so kind that you sent this my way. i appreciated all the
chat about smoothies etc. last night. i was hoping this final
procedure would work. but since it hasn't ,i am able to have
this new recipe and it will be fun to taste something new.
i hope that the day is going well for you. the sky has once
again become dark and menacing. that it is okay,it is winter
