Anyone have a recipe for Choc. Choc. Chip Applesauce Cake

I had the most wonderful recipe for a Chocolate Chocolate Chip Applesauce Cake.......but it is lost and I only made it around the holidays ......... so as ouy have guessed .........I don't remember the receipe. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/crying.gif

Deb, I did a google, and found this one. I hope this is it or at least maybe it can jog your memory for the original recipe, it sounds good, I may try it myself.......let me know.

Chocolate Chip Applesauce Cake

apples, cakes, chocolate

1/2 cup margarine -- or applesauce
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
3 tablespoon cocoa
2 cup flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 1/2 cup applesauce, unsweetened
3/4 cup chocolate chips
1 topping
2 tablespoon sugar
1 cup nuts -- chopped - opt.
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Mix cake ingredients as usual. Put into greased 9"x13" pan. Mix topping ings. and sprinkle over. Bake about 40 Min. at 350F. Recipe By : Bea Kriger
