APPLE DUMPLINGS
2 - cans of Crescent Dinner Rolls
1 1/2 Cups of Sugar
1 Tablespoon of Cinnamon
1/2 Stick of Buttler
2 - Granny Smith Apples (peeled, and cut in eighths)
1 - Can of Mountain Dew
9X13 pan (Sprayed with non-stick spray)
Mix Cinnamon in with the 1/1/2 C of sugar. Open crescent rolls and separated into 4 pieces (instead of 8) Place a few of the apple pieces inside each roll. Roll up the crescent rolls with apple inside and pinch around the edges. Place each dumpling in the 9X13 pan. Melt 1/2 stick of butter and pour evenly over the dumplings. Put the Cinnammon/Sugar mixture evenly over the dumplings. Now, pour one can of Mountain Dew over the dumplings. Bake in 350 degree oven for about 45 min. OR until golden brown and done on the inside.
***This can also be done with peaches, blueberries and possibly strawberries. **
