I can definitely endorse manuka honey as something to put on your toast (yummy) but have never put it on an open wound. But I do know it is advertised for this purpose.

What leaps to mind is that I often keep it in the fridge (ant attack) so it goes pretty hard, so it would make a real lumpy dressing ehehehe.

There, I bet you didn't know that the Planet Andromeda hovers over New Zealand.
