Hi everyone, havent't posted for awhile, but thought I would since I'm going back to the Rheumie tomorrow and am wondering what he will say. He is suppose to do some more blood work, but I can honestly say I am feeling soooo much better. Have been on Plaquenil since October 400 mg daily and am down to four Ibuprophen's a day. Depending on the weather of course. I have had a bit of a rash on my hands and arms and a little on my right eyelid but other than that I am becoming very functional. I'm just afraid the blood work will show all negative since I have been on Plaq, but that's all right, I am able to take care of my Grandbaby. I will write again after the appointment. Everyone take care and feel better. I read this forum almost every day and it has helped my spirit so much, I never thought I would even feel halfway good again. I had hope and faith and it has happened. Raeann style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/jump.gif

<span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:100%">Hello !

Just try to remember that even if your bloodwork is negative, you are getting treatment and responding to it. You say you are able to take care of your grandbaby and you have come along pretty good, so I hope things continue to get better for you.

Let me know how you make out at your appointment. My rhemo told me that Plaquenil treatment can result in negative bloodwork anyway. So I say to him, so then why draw the blood? His reply, better to be safe.

Ok with that!

Good luck !!</span>

Update on Dr. Appt. - This has been a good day and I know there is hope for a lot of people on this forum.
I do not have to go back to the Rhuemie for six months unless I am experiencing problems. He spent some very quality time with me and was pleased how much better I was feeling. I am very excited that I in a few more months I will feel almost back to normal. If that is entirely possible. He has never given me an exact diagnosis specifically, but I have heard from a lot of people on this forum that the Plaquenil is strictly for Lupus. So I am happy with the diagnosis of inflammatory arthritis (lacking for a better term). I know the doctors are very reluctant to diagnose Lupus without more or a variety of symptoms. After really thinking back over the past five years I know I could come up with a lot more symptoms but didn't really know what they all meant until now. Everyone take care and I will keep reading this forum and put my two cents worth in whenever I can. Thanks again for all the comments and help. Raeann
