When I had problems conceiving, my doctor had me get a basal thermometer. you have to take your temp vaginally every morning before your feet hit the floor. i recorded my temp on a graph and showed him the results. He then put me on Clomid (rather expensive and not covered by insurance). I conceived triplets. I lost one early in the pregnancy and went on to deliver two fiesty boys.

If you do not want to do the fertility drug, monitoring your temp yourself is always a way. If I remember correctly, when your temp is the highest, they that is the most likely time you will be able to conceive. Also, women give off a discharge when they are most fertile. The discharge is rather thick and sticky. This helps to keep the egg and sperm in place....so to speak.

Hope this helps, at least it did for me. Good luck!

I'm not sure how long you've been trying but it took me over 2 years to get pg with my first one and seven months with my second one.
Are you going to an obygn? It would be wise to have one of those to help you along before your even pg.
My obgyn told me that since I was in remission it should have nothing to do with my lupus so she ran a ton of tests and I finally just got pg on my own.

Stress can also keep you from getting pregnant. Worrying can prevent also. Try and relax about it . Believe me I know easier said then done.

Good luck

i dont know anything much about babies or concieving but i know that sle tires you out and can make you feel run down. try to relax, getting down and depressed isnt going to help you and i appreciate it can be stressful but your doc should be able to help and if not point you to some one that can help you, but try not to get too stressed and down about it. you wont have a moments peace when they do arrive!!!!

hope you have some luck soon!!!
peace and love
