Long time no hear to all my dear friends....

Well it's been such a long time since I haved used this site or even went in the chat room....

A lot has gone on in my life over the last few months, that I not been well enough or strong enough to talk to anyone.

Iam having real big problems with my heart, the treatment that they put me on is not responding as well as they like, my INR (blood) is up the wall. Every bone in my body is aching that much that Iam scared to move.

My Epilepsey which I might add has been dormant has decided to raise it's ugly head again, leaving me emotionally drained.

To top things off my husband went on a night out last weekend and was stabbed in the head three times, he is on the mend but lucky to be alive.

I feel like i'm suffocating and not coping very well, It would be good to hear from some of my Lupie friends.

Wow Irene,

What a time of it you have had. And with all the health problems, you get idiots like the people who stabbed your husband. That must have been a nightmare for you.

I hope you start to feel strong physically, and emotionally soon. Its very nice to hear from you, take care and hope to see you in chat soon.

Oh my you poor thing you have been through way to much style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hugbetter.gif .I was thinking the other day when i saw you on the boards wow how long shas it been. Well you just take care of yourself and tell those dotors to get a move on with your health and keep us posted please. Even if you do not feel like chatting let us know something okay. I will be praying for better health for you most definatley. That is really terrible about your husband to most defiantely on top of everything else. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/foryou.gif Lupus girl, I hope your husband is on the road to recovery soon and you also, as ALL that extra stress will make your illness worse.I have also not posted for a few weeks I think around 4 as I've been in hospital with major flare up including kidney problems and cellulitis, I have been taken off Methotrexate as my immunity has been terrible due to this drug, constantly in hospital for i.v drips antibiotics.Awaiting new drug at present probably going to be cytoxan,Where was your husband when he was attacked, you must of been terrified.

I'm sorry you're having such a rough time. Is there no way that you can get a referral to a pain specialist to get that part of your illness under better control?

There is no reason to suffer terribly day after day when there are things that can be done to address pain issues. Sometimes they're even very simple things and can make a tremendous difference in your quality of life. No wonder you're exhausted! Feeling bad all the time drains every ounce of energey.

I hope things begin to improve soon and that hubby is none the worse for wear as his injuries heal.

Hello I'm very sorry to hear about all of the problems that you have been having. No wonder you hurt all over just the stress of it has to be enough to make you hurt.
My wife has had heart problems with her lupus as well and it took sometime to get it all in order but it did finally take.
I hope they get yours worked out fairly soon so that things start to improve for you.

Hi Irene
Nice to meet you. I joined this site in November 2005 and I dont believe we have met. Just wanted to add my thoughts to the others.
I always find when I am feeling rotten that coming on this site helps no end. Doesnt change the pain but somehow makes it a bit more bearable.
Your poor hubby must be so traumatised by what happened.
I hope you and he get some peace and better health in the coming months.
