HELP I NEED A DOC

I know there are lupus specialists at UC Davis and UC SF. That is a bit of a drive for you however many of us here on the boards have found that it is worth the drive to see a doctor that specializes in lupus. I would also check for a lupus support group in your area. Usually the support groups are a good place to find who the best lupus docs are in the area they cover.

I think the support groups in the bay area are out of the Lupus Alliance instead of the Lupus Foundation.

Michele,
My daughter just transitioned from pediatric care to adult care here in Fresno. We found a wonderful doctor, Dr. Pamela Kammen. We did have to have a referral and we had to wait six months for a new patient appointment. We were very pleased with the time she took as well as she listened to all of my daughter's history. She asked what we wanted from her and how she could help.
I know Fresno is a couple of hours south, but her office is right off the freeway.
