Hi everyone!
I was wondering if anyone else has this problem. I have this bruise on my thigh that I can barely see, but is still sensitive after months of being there. Does anyone else have this problem of bruises not healing quickly?
Thanks for any insights that you give. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/Thanx.gif

Wow, I had to respond because my legs and hips are covered in bruises. I have this one specific bruise I've had for 4 years! This has been on going for me. I used be a little embarrassed esp. in the summer time. I just laugh it off like "yeah he really loves me though." I hate having to explain it. fI don't even remember bumping into anything. I actually went to my doctor yesterday for other reasons and he was shocked with all the bruises. He told me they're blood clots and I am also anemic. Next time you see your doctor ask him for his opinion. Hope this helps!

Hi all, yah me too! I bruise real easy, prednisone and warfarin too!! I slipped getting out of my van about two years ago, and still to this day have a real tender spot on the back of leg, not purple anymore, but a darker shade. Whats up I wonder? Come to think ther's a couple spots like that. Take care style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif Twas

Hi Pauline,
I haven't got a bruise that I've had a long time, but I bruise really easily and have loads of them on my legs. I think that they take longer to go than other people's would, but my problem is more that I just keep getting more.

I don't take coumadin, but I do take a daily low dose aspirin.
I was also diagnosed with Anti-cardiolipin antibodies, would that have anything to do with it? style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/shrug.gif
I wonder why we lupies get this? style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/umm.gif
