Hi Jane, On my last visit to see my Specialist i was told off for having highlights in my hair as it could cause a flare ... I dident ask why at the time as there was so much going on, but just to let you know that it can cause problems. Hope your happy with the colour after all that

Hi,
Yes some of us are sensitive to the chemicals in hair dyes or perms. I havent had a perm for decades for that very reason and if I do color my hair I usually just have streaks put in because the solution never touches my scalp, so I am not in danger of absorbing straight into my head. Of course some of us are so sensitive that the smell of the chemicals will set you off.
Its and individual thing and one that you will get around through trial and error.
love
Lily
