HI everyone!
I remember before someone here in the site mentioned about the make up brand Bare escentuals. I just wonder where can I buy them? Is it just online shopping or we can find them on the stores?
Thank you for the help.

Hey Watslove,

www.sephora.com has bare escentuals. You can also go right to http://www.bareescentuals.com/ but I believe they just offer their intro. package.

I bought the powder, and the mineral veil aswell as lipgloss from them back in September. I wanted to try it because its highly recommended by the cancer institute too because its so natural. I didn't find it was the best makeup for me. I still prefer Clinique. I have pretty good skin so I didn't need it so much to cover things up. I found it felt as if I had powder on my face a good 2-3 hours after I put it on until it sunk into my skin.

On another note though, I do have a friend who has sworn by it now for a year. She loves it. She has had very oily skin all her life and it does alot for her skin.

So I guess it is depending on your skin type. It is a little expensive (I'm from Canada so by the time I got my order sent here it was $110 just for the three products, but if it works for you then its totally worth it)

Hope that helps!

Also another good skin care/makeup website to visit is www.theskinstore.com it can direct you towards product geared at your skin type.

Hi watslove

You can get Bare Escentuals from QVC the shopping channel if you have freeview or satellite TV or it's available online at qvcuk.com (for UK readers). I'm not aware if it is available from any UK stores. The great thing about QVC is that if you don't get on with the products or change your mind you can return them for a refund even if you have used some so it's a risk free way of trying out new products, particularly if they are expensive.

I have tried one or two of the products and quite like them, but my friend is an absolute convert and swears by them. She has rosacea and extremely sensitive skin and these products work wonders for her. I have got the mineral foundation and have tried the mineral veil, and a blusher.

I hope this helps!

I have been using this makeup for about a year now and my daughter has started using it as well. My face is naturally oily and I have a tendency to get hot flashes...thank you menopause. I have found that the powders are easy and quick to apply and they stay on quite well. I do not feel like I have a heavy weight on my face. It feels light and fresh and like my skin can actually breath. It does wonders as far as covering up all of my little imperfections. It is a little expensive, but I feel it is money well spent...just my thoughts. Iknow you can go online and purchase it as well as from QVC. ALso I have seen it on infomericals, at least here in the states. Good luck!

I love Bare Escentials! It doesn't feel heavy on my skin and also there is the sun screen factor. It is expensive but you use so little it lasts for ages. I buy it from QVC and I bought some from ebay, but I over paid!
