I have heard of people having this done with great success and satisfaction but I'm too scared of risking damage to my eyes and also I doubt my rheumy would approve as he didn't want me to tint my hair.
What's puzzling me is how does your sunscreen affect your mascara?

i was thinking that too ??? its not painfall or dangerous to have eyelashes tinted, you just have to lay down and keep your eyes closed. 20 mins is all it takes. I do a few peoples, it does make a difference.

Hi clare,
Just reaplying it ruins my whole makeup really... i can live without blusher and the rest, but i do like to have mascara on and i usually find sunscreen smudges it with it been greasy.
Good point about the the effect the dye might have as i know we shouldnt dye our hair but i dont think that the dye would go right to the skin... If it did the amount would be tiny.
Oh well. was just a thought

Hi Bunny
I dont really know the full details if im honest but some of the chemicals in hairdyes can cause your Lupus to flare , also having Lupus makes us more allergic to things so we have to be extra cautious.
Im sure there was some posts regarding this not too long ago ...I think they were posted under looking good and feeling better.
