Hey everyone.

I saw the Under 20's forum && thought I should introduce myself here. I've already done it on the Introduce Yourself part of this Board.

... My name is Jo, I'm from New York and I'm 15 years old. I was diagnosed with SLE in October of 2005. THe doctor currently has me on Cell Cept, Plaquanil, Prednisone, Advil (i have no idea why), some multi-vitamins, and Lipitor (part of this study thing).

All the sites I keep looking at recomend that I talk to other people that have Lupus, but I've yet o find any near me. So I figured this is good enough.

Yes, it's good to find people who can relate with the kinds of things we experience. It makes us not feel so alone and different from most other people.

I think the young folks are busy away from their computers today, or they'd reply. Even with lupus, you can still have a lot of energy from just being youthful. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/jump.gif

Hei Jo, Im happy you found this forum.. They really get ur spirits up and ull learn a lot from here...

By the first time i got here i was so depressed because i have this illness and that i couldnt talk and get along with people the normal way, i was clueless about wat im gonna do wit my life, the chances of fulfilling my dreams just vanished... my enthusiasm on life and on my self decreased dramatically... But when i met the people here, they gave me a different view in life, the gave me HOPE most especially...
