so disappointing!!!

Hi!
I just got back from my dermatologist's appointment, and I am really so sad and disappointed to know when the doctor told me that there is nothing he can do about my scars, that there isn't any treatment for it, and that only the new/red rashes he can treat. And when I asked him if he can treat lessions/stretch marks that I have because of prednisone, he said there's no treatment for them as well. I am really really so sad.
Please forgive me. I just want to express how I feel because there's no one I can talk to at the moment. My hubby is at work, and I don't wanna bother him.

I just wanted to say I am sorry you are sad. I know it must be hard that there is nothing to do. Perpahs others have an idea on what to use that may help. It is discouraging but our docs can only do so much. Just try to remember that it is you inside that matters. Our bodies are just our shell.

Try to do something to pamper yourself today. You deserve it. It will bring your spirits up.

Of course you must feel sad because there is nothing the medics can do to fix whats already been done. It is very hard to come to terms with stuff like that. Although you are sad today (and entitled to be) tomorrow always brings along something to help us come to terms with things.
In the meantime, go spoil yourself. Treat yourself to something really nice. Maybe something you have been wanting for a long time?
Look at it as a kind of trade off. Every time we have to bear some bad news - find something to help flip it over and balance the negative and the positive.
