I keep forgetting to post this and every night I say "tomorrow" but weeks have gone by.

Every night when I lay down, the feet start to burn. Not a bad burning feeling but enough to aggrivate and make me move them around almost hot irritated feeling.

Does anyone know what would cause that? I thought I read somewhere along the line of that being a symptom of something....I don't think Lupus, but oh forget it, the brain is dead.

If you could let me know if you experience this only when lying down that would be great.

The brain....it is going.

Hi Paula
Yes I too get this but almost always at night time. Just in the last week I have begun to notice it during the day though so I hope this doesnt happen to you as well!
Have no idea what it is but it sure is annoying.
Lets hope someone else comes along and puts us out of our misery!...

Sorry ladies...I can't get you out of your misery, but...I can join you in it! style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif

I get the burning feet too. But I get that in the morning upon waking. They burn like a son-of-a-b-word! They'll keep burning halfway into mid morning before they stop!

Maybe it's just some inflammation.

Sorry I couldn't help

Hi

It could be inflamation or a circulation thing.

I have circulation problems and have problems with my feet getting hot at night and sometimes get a burning sensation with this as well. I also getting a burning sensation in my shoulders regularly.

I would bring this up with your Doc at your next appointment if you haven't already, as they may be able find the cause of the problem and suggest a way to get some relief.

hi helloos,
yes, I get the burning thing too. Only at night. My gp said it was related to the restless leg syndrome I have but I've seen other people on the board that have it but dont have RLS so I dont know for sure.
I do know for sure I hate it!

Yes it could be all these things, and it could also be Raynauds, do your toes/fingers/hands ever get cold, or change colour? Do you know what autoantibodies you have?

Hi Paula,
I have varicose veins which cause a burning feeling in my feet and legs. I notice it more when I lay down. The dr says elevate the legs so the painful part is above your heart. Support hose and compression stockings help. You might want to see the dr about this.
Take care,
Pam
