Hi Jane.

Hmmm I think we all have had this question one time or another.

Remember to bring your meds with you and your insurance card, and your doctors information.

Rememer to load up on sunscreen, wear a hat, sunglasses and long sleeves if you can even when in water.

Remember to rest if you are feeling run down. Try to do things slowly and in the shade if possible.

Pamper yourself too. You don't need to be on the go every day, resting up is a vacation alone.

Listen to your body. It knows best.

Most of all - ENJOY YOURSELF - YOU DESERVE IT !!!!

Hi Jane,

Apart from the obvious which is high factor suncream and a wide brimmed hat it might be worth investing in some clothing that has protection against the sun you can buy long sleeved shirts that are factor 50 etc.

Also i have read some where that you can buy something that you wash your clothes in that also gives protection, hopefully someone will know more what im talking about and help with where we can buy it from style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/aww.gif

Try to keep out of direct sun between 11.00 and 3.00 people who DONT have lupus are also advised to do this!! style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hide.gif

style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/crying.gif no SUN at all..only the shade..i can still have a good time! style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hehe.gif shopping..sight seeing..this will be the first time we have away for two weeks,its normally one as we have the girls..there are 12 of us going..my sons and wives... style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/goodvibes.gif i will need a holiday when i get back..fortunetly they only going for one week...
