Hi all style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif
As Robyn has changed school, medications and tried to break her neck( no not a figure of speech) since the last time I posted, she has agreed that an update would be nice style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif
So here goes, Robyn has now been on Cellcept for 6 weeks with no noticable side effects style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/woohoo.gif and she is managing the 2 weekly blood tests very well. The only down side other than the blood tests is the amount of bugs she catches....but even they are becoming less of a problem as she seems to be fighting them off better.
Robyn is now attending our local senior school and up untill 2 weeks ago her attendance had been really good and she has been doing very well with her class work ( she has actually complained that its too easy) !!
So what happened 2 weeks ago....you may well ask. Going through the front door Robyn tripped and fell, at the time no major damage seemed to have been done and so she went to bed. Next morning unable to move her head, we thought it a good idea to go to the hospital......they thought she may have sprained her neck, and so gave her pain killers and waited!!! style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wacko.gif several hours later she was sent for x-rays and soon after found herself stapped to a back board and in a head brace as they suspected a broken neck style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/faint.gif After a 24 hr stay in hospital it was decided that she had not broken her neck but had torn a ligament, and was sent home with a collar and instructions to rest............. unfortunatly she was also sent home with a nasty chest infection ( aren't hospital wards grand ) and has been off school ever since.
Robyn is now feeling much better, just in time for half term, and will be returning to school after the hols style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bigsmile.gif
Love from Robyn and Stevie
