Hi Liz,
No I personally havent had this test done, a few here have though and one of our members has Addisons disease along with her Lupus. Others have acquired adrenal insufficiency due to high doses of steriods at times.
I wish you good luck with your results, let us know how things turn out style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hugbetter.gif
Here's a page explaining the condition and different tests which can be run:

I only had a blood test.....one fasting first thing in the morning, and then again in late afternoon. I actually had the morning test done a little late (9am and it is supposed to be done at 7am), and I was still borderline low, so my neurologist tentatively dx'd me as borderline Addisons until I saw an endocrinologist. I had been off of pred. for 2 months, and was only on 5mg for 2 months before that, so it should not have altered my adrenal output, according to my doctors.
Of course, I was FINALLY dx'd with lupus a couple of months before I was scheduled to see the endo, and put on 100 mg of prednisone a day, which ruined any accurate dx. I'm still on 10 mg a day, so I still don't have an answer. Grrrr.
