Any mischievous ladies in the house?

I just wanted to share with you a mischevious thing I did and that it took my husband by surprise. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hehe.gif
Well, this past holiday weekend I couldn't go to the beach and I was kinda sad about it, because I love going to the beach!
So, I decided to get my haircut short (it used to be long 1/2 way my back) and did not tell hubby about my plan. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif At the salon, my stylist was surprise at my decision, but she understood how hot my head got with the thickness of my hair texture and a hat on top of that. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif Anyway, she did a good job and I liked the style she chose for me style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif. I can't deny that I was a little worried about hubby's reaction when he go home because I knew how much he loved my long hair and my stylist got worried too when I told her that I was going to surprise him. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/notlook.gif

When hubby got home, he was shocked...in a good way:lol: and happy for me at the same time. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/woohoo.gif
He understood that it would be too hot for me to handle long hair during the summer months because my head would be cooked under my hat! style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rotfl.gif
A happy ending indeed. I was pleased with his positive reaction and the best part of it all is that he still thinks I'm his pretty little lady. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wub.gif Which help me forget about not been able to go to the beach this past weekend. </span>

A few years back i went shopping for a new sweater for martin - i couldn't park outside the sports shop so i had to park over the road - outside a sofa shop............. So i decided to have a look in there before going to the sports shop - i found a lovely leather sofa and decided to buy it style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rotfl.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rotfl.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rotfl.gif I went home and told martin what i had done and then the following day i decided that a new carpet would be nice to go with the new sofa so i went and ordered a new carpet (martin was working and had no idea).

So we ended up with a lovely new leather sofa and a new carpet........but martin never got his new sweater style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rotfl.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rotfl.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rotfl.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rotfl.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rotfl.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rotfl.gif style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rotfl.gif

I'm glad you like your haircut. I have thought of doing that but with my prednisone moon face it just doesn't loook good on me.

About doing thing without hubby knowing. I often repaint rooms or rearrange furniture while he is away on business. LOL

You're brave! I'm glad it worked out. I have curly hair so if I went short it would turn into a fro....not an option, imho. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bigsmile.gif

Sorry I missed it. Where was the mischief part ?
I guess maybe it is just because people sometimes forget that when someone loves us it is short hair, long hair and yes even No Hair.
The suprise well it adds just a little spice to life. A little suprise can be very nice from time to time.
With in reason of course everyone can think of a way that it can go way to far.

keep the suprises up, I'm sure the next one will be recieved just as well.

and to let you in on a little secret. It is always nice to have your lady do something that completely changes her appearance every once in a while.
Blonde today, who knows maybe he would like a red head tonight.

Thank you for your participation. You're absolutely right about "keeping the surprises up". Throughout the years, I've changed my hair color: blond, red, brunette and jet black.
