Hi Kamkam,
They can mean different things to different situations, what did your doc say about them?
Compliments are quite often low in Lupus. They are just part of the functioning of the immune system and when low it indicates depletion sometimes by a Rheumatic disease such as Lupus. I have heard others here return a high level but I've never had one. Is there a normal range on your tests, do you know how high they were? They usually have some figures listed?

Some of your tests being low may indicate a type of anemia, but from what is listed it's not possible to be sure what kind. If you've had heavy menstrual periods that could be one reason. Another test, the ESR, is a measure of inflammation but is not specific as to body part or cause of inflammation.
The best thing to do is to ask your doc what ALL of the tests looked at together in YOUR situation mean.
It can be tough to get all the questions and answers into a 15 minute office visit at the same time you get test results. Sometimes it's actually better to make a separate appointment for questions/answers. There is less time stress that way.

It is hard to tell from clinical results that say low or high. Clinically low can at time be a more noraml level on some items for people who are on certain drugs or have certain medical conditions.
We went over some test results one time with our doctor. we had alot of questions about low and high that was stated and what it meant.
He told us that you could not go by that real close that you need to read over and get the numbers further over to make a good decesion.
Low could mean that it is one off from the range that they normallt expect to see but is not low enough for the doctor to worry about but he or she will watch it to insure it does not go lower or higher.
It can also be low but just what he expects to see when on this medication or with this condition.
Since that time we do not look at low or high and he does not tell us that info. He tells us it shows this level and that is fine or it is a little lower then I would like to see or higher then i would like to see.
If you have questions about it I would ask the doctor what the levels were and what they mean and what needs done if anything.
May not be a cause for worry.
