moving home scared of new doctors!

Hi Guys,

Long time no mail!, I've been away but can't help needing some support now and again!.

Im moving home to north london and I'm going to see my specialist in a few weeks to talk about recommending a new doctor for me and wondered if anyone has had any experience of doctors in this area?.

I live in the USA so I won't know for your specific local area. However at St. Thomas in London is the worlds top Lupus Center. Hopefully someone else will know how you have to go about getting your local health authority to approve you being treated there. Also Dr. Graham Huges the originator of the Lupus Center has recently retired to private practice at another hospital in London. If you have the means to be seen privately that is another option. Look thru the recent posts in this forum to get the name of the hospital.
