I have just found the following which seems worth ringing if you are receiving benefits eg. DLA, CARER'S ALLOWANCE, ATTENDANCE ALLOWANCE & many other benefits. There are discounts available from most uk energy suppliers.
It is the Energy Retail Association, who run a service to advise customers about the help on offer.
Their 'Home Heat Helpline' is on: 0800 33 66 99.
Its a freephone number, so what have you to loose!
